Scholarships

1. (Late) Shri Valabdas I. Jethmalani Floating Shield Prize : (Estd. 1972)
To be awarded to a student of the school, ranking First in the S.S.C. exam., in the first attempt.

2. The Suburban Education Society, Bombay Scholarship of Rs. 1000/- to be given to :
(a) The highest ranking student of this School in the S.S.C. Exam. In the first attempt.
(b) The student should prosecute his/her study at the affiliated College of any faculty of any University.
(c) In case the highest ranking student, does not desire to prosecute for higher studies, then the next in rank, will be entitles for the Scholarship.

3. Kumar Pragnesh Shah Memorial Scholarship :
To be awarded to the student of Std. VI of the school, who secures the highest marks in Mathematics, at the First Semester Examination of the year, out of the Annual Interest accrued on Rs. 700/-

4. Shri Ramanlal Thakkar memorial prize :
To the student who stand first in the S.S.C. results and Prelims of the school, out of the Annual Interest accrued on Rs. 501/-

5. The (Late) Dagma – Darryl Memorial prize :
To be awarded to the student od Std. X – S.S.C. of the school who secures the highest marks in English (H.L.) but not less than 60% in the first attempt at the S.S.C. Examination and Prelims of The year, out of the Annual interest accrued on Rs. 501/-

6. The Parent teacher Association Scholarship :
(a) Students of the school from Stds. I to IV securing 85% and above along with a grade ‘A’ in the Annual Average Examinations Results should be awarded rs. 501/-
(b) Students of the school from Stds. V to IX securing 85% and above along with a grade ‘A’ in the Annual Average Examinations Results should be awarded rs. 501/-.

7. The Parent – Teacher Association S.S.C. Award and Cash Incentive Prizes :
i) To the student who passes the S.S.C. examination of March of the year in his / her first attempt.
Topes the class and secures a position in the S.S.C. board as the highest ranker.
If however the student fails to secure the first position in the S.S.C. board, but still secures a Percentage which is within the range of 0.5% from the highest percentage of the board he / she qualifies secure the Gold medal.
ii) A SILVER MEDAL to the student, who passes the S.S.C. examination of March of the year, in his/her first attempt, tops the class in the S.S.C. Examination of the year.
iii) The S.S.C. Student, who passes the S.S.C. Examination of March of the year, in his/her first attempt with Distinction and breaks the school’s previous record of the highest percentage of marks obtained in ENGLISH HINDI, MARATHI, MATHEMATICS, SCIENCE AND SOCIAL STUDIES WILL BE AWARDED A CASH INCENTIVE PRIZE OF Rs. 100/- for each of the aforesaid subjects, in which the school’s record of marks stands broken by him/her.
iv) A cash Prize of Rs. 100/- each to the first five in rank, who pass the S.S.C. Examination of march of the year in their first attempt with Distinction and Rs. 50/- each, to those who follow in rank, in the same category of Distinction, passing S.S.C. Examination in their first attempt at the S.S.C. Board’s Examination in their first attempt at the S.S.C. Board’s Examination.

SCHOOL AWARDS

  • Prizes are decided on the results of the Annual Academic performance. To win a Prize, a student must pass in all subjects and appear for all tests.
  • To gain a prize in any other subject, a student must get 80 percent of the marks / grade obtainable and stand highest in the subject in his/her particular Class, besides passing in all the subject.
  • Good conduct is also an essential condition for winning any prize.
